passing
dancing 'round & 'round
i can feel the irish in your hand
a hint of your arm round my waist
dancing 'round & 'round
i am in love with the quick press of you
pull me lead me
i am dizzy-i am trying too hard
to follow your sound soft tapping the floor
creaks approval
dancing 'round & 'round
i am smiling silly with dance
your breast pressed on my arm
only for a moment-but long enough to pause me
dancing 'round & 'round
a moment quickly past
your eyes face lost in the rush of fabric, hair
& hands passing me to the next dancer
